Rå

Rå is a book project about female sexuality, the personal stories and becoming strong in the voyage of our own sexuality. Based on interviews with different women, I delve into different topics of our sexuality today, exploring everything from scars, pleasures, self image, empowerment in nakedness and the freedom of choice. The pictures explore the female gaze, as the women set the terms for the pictures, and are themselves deciding what, where and how they are taken, and the female photographer are trying to free herselves from our long story of male gaze.
